Sidenote:
The Bride, Katie, is a native Outer Banker and her father, Dr. Morgan, is a local dentist. Katie worked at the Wright Brothers Memorial as a flying booth girl and had always had a passion for flight. She decided to pursue this interest and go to flight school, which is where she met her future husband, Rich. The theme of flight was carried throughout their wedding, especially in their choice of cake design, which was a landing strip with planes on it.
