The Cypress House Inn is located only 125 yards from the ocean at MP8 on the Beach Road (1 house back from Oceanfront) and is the closest bed and breakfast to the ocean and a great compliment to a beach wedding. A public beach access with ample parking is directly in front of the Inn making the Inn very convenient for a beach wedding with a reception at the Inn. We have wedding packages available for 2 to 125. Packages can be customized by adding or deleting any items.

The Cypress House Inn was built in the 1940s as a small, private Outer Banks hunting and fishing lodge. The interior is noted for it's unique soft cypress tongue-and-groove paneled walls and ceilings. The Inn was approved as a local historic landmark on December 10, 2007 by the Town of Kill Devil Hills Board of Commissioners, with recommendation for approval by the Town’s Historic Preservation Commission.

Please keep Cypress House Inn in mind for guest accommodations, a bridal luncheon, or a rehearsal dinner. We also have access to four (4) beach houses in the Village of Nags Head that may be rented by the week or partial week for guest accommodations.
