The Outer Banks Wedding Association (OBWA) hosts and maintains this web site as a service and benefit to its members. Member participation on this web site is contingent upon each member adhering to the following Terms of Use:

1. ACCESS: All members in good standing are allowed access to the Members Section of the web site via a unique password and user name, which is assigned to them by OBWA. Members are responsible for the security of that access by maintaining or changing their username and password as deemed neccessary, and retaining secrecy of such access information.

2. ACCURACY: All members in good standing are required to keep their personal and business information current and accurate at all times. OBWA is not responsible for updating, revising, or changing member information presented on this web site. Nor is OBWA responsible for accuracy.

Members also agree to accurately represent their business on this web site by:

  • Ensuring that their business name as listed on this web site is an accurate reflection of the member's legal business name. We do not allow members to use alternate business names in order to achieve alphabetical ranking on this web site.
  • Ensuring that their business is listed in up to three service or goods categories that accurately reflect the business that the member directly owns and/or operates.
  • Ensuring that any photography or other copyrighted material submitted by a member for use in a listing or splash page is directly owned by that member or is given due credit as required by law and/or owner of said material.

3. PRIVACY: All members in good standing agree to keep any third party information received as a result of participation on this web site (such as bridal requests) confidential and not to share this information with any parties outside of the Outer Banks Wedding Association. Members also agree that they will respond to each bridal inquiry received from this web site in a considerate and professional manner as dictated by OBWA's Code of Ethics.

OBWA monitors use of this web site and reserves the right to revise any content or remove any member without notice that does not conform to these terms of use. OBWA hereby disclaims any legal responsbility for content that any member contributes to this web site.
