Mission Statement: The Outer Banks Wedding Association is a not-for-profit organization comprised of over 250 member businesses for the purpose of promoting the Outer Banks as a wedding destination and our members as resources to brides and those planning events in the area.
Vision Statement: To be recognized as the premier wedding destination on the East Coast.
The Outer Banks is one of the most popular coastal wedding destinations in the country, and the Outer Banks Wedding Association is the premiere service organization for wedding professionals located in Currituck, Dare, and Hyde counties. We are over 200 members strong, and are governed by a nine-member Board of Directors.
The Outer Banks Wedding Association is a non-profit trade marketing organization representing the Outer Banks wedding industry. While we require our members in good standing to adhere to a Code of Professional Ethics, the organization's Board of Directors do not recommend or refer to any single member, nor do we mediate disputes between members or their customers.
